This page explains how we choose, write and correct our stories.
What we cover
Tech news and guides: AI, space, phones, PCs, gadgets, apps, gaming and online security.
How we choose stories
We pick stories that matter to everyday tech users. Before we write, we ask three questions. Is it new? Is it true? Does it change anything for our readers?
Accuracy
- We check facts against original sources, like company announcements, official documents and trusted news outlets.
- We link to those sources, so you can check them too.
- When a story is based on a rumor or a leak, we say so.
Reviews and buying guides
Our reviews and buying guides draw on specs, published tests and expert opinion, plus hands-on time where we have it. No brand can pay for a better review.
Corrections
If we get something wrong, we fix it quickly. For bigger mistakes, we add a note to the article that says what changed.

Independence
- Ads are kept separate from our stories. Advertisers do not choose or approve what we write.
- If a post is ever paid for, we label it “Sponsored” at the top.
- Some links may earn us a small commission. This never changes what we recommend.
Updates
Tech changes fast. We update our guides when prices, features or facts change.
